Provide comprehensive administrative support to the insurance brokerage team, including but not limited to managing calendars, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, communicating with clients and addressing their enquiries.
Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally, ensuring accurate message relay and timely responses.
Assist in the preparation and formatting of various documents, reports, and presentations.
Maintain and update client databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of client information.
Support the team in preparing insurance quotes, policies, and renewal documentation.
Coordinate and process insurance applications, endorsements, and claims.
Collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to gather necessary information and resolve any issues.
Conduct research and gather data to support the team in market analysis and client acquisition efforts.
Provide administrative support to other departments as required.
Graduate; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
Ability to communicate in Canadian/US English – both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software such as Salesforce.
Willing to work in night shift (Canadian time).
Access to a professional work from home environment & high end computer/business internet.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
